COVID-19 protocols in place require the following health questionnaire that must be filled out for each individual wishing to attend services, each week.  The purpose is a) track numbers attending, as per health guidelines; b) maintain tracing records; c) ensure responsibilities are acknowledged and committed to.

The safety protocols that our shul has put into place will provide the highest level of safety possible under the circumstances; however, it is important to know that it is absolutely impossible to eliminate risk.

Our Frequently Asked Questions were written to provide members wishing to attend with an overview of the requirements to keep everyone safe.

Services are currently for members only  Children under Bar/Bat Mitzvah age cannot attend at this time and parents must ensure their children will be able to sit quietly as they will not be permitted to run around or leave the Sanctuary during services.

Registration will be online.  For those with no computer access, call the office and speak with Alan before the cutoff.  Voicemails or e-mails alone do not suffice.  Men and women are welcome and each must register separately.

Rabbi Kanofsky wishes to emphasize to those with any health concerns that there is no pressure to attend shul at this time. Current shul programs on Zoom will continue.  Our intention is to balance reasonably serving the needs of our members and adhering to our responsibility to ensure that our members are safe, healthy and protected.

Individuals experiencing any flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, muscle aches, tiredness, difficulty breathing, sore throat, diarrhea, conjunctivitis, or loss of smell or taste) must refrain from attending.  In addition, if you have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 or travelled outside Canada within the past fourteen days, you may not attend.

Individuals over the age of 65, individuals immunocompromised or have a chronic condition that would make them more likely to have complications from COVID-19 should consult their physician before attending. These guidelines are in line with current public health recommendations.
