Hello, Kehillat Shaarei Torah Community!
I'm thrilled to connect with you as the Executive Director of our beloved shul & community. I'm Michael Gilmore, and it's an absolute honor to lead the charge in managing the KST office with a fantastic team dedicated to the growth and warmth of our community.
Teaming up with Rabbi Kanofsky, our esteemed Board of Directors, community partners, vendors, and, most importantly, our cherished members, I'm diving into this journey to ensure our shul operates seamlessly, remaining an inviting space for everyone.
Our mission at its core is to make traditional Judaism accessible, relatable, and welcoming to the entire Jewish community of Toronto. We understand that every detail matters, striving to make your experiences at KST exceptional. To help me achieve this goal, I actively engage in national and regional synagogue Executive Directors' conferences and support forums, staying ahead of trends in fiscal management, fundraising, administration, promotion, and community engagement.
Through years of community involvement, I've learned that a shul's true strength lies in collaboration between members and staff. Together, we can identify meaningful engagement opportunities and overcome challenges. Your thoughts, comments, and ideas are invaluable – both positive and constructive. Reach out, share insights, and actively shape the future of our community.
Passion drives me in all I do, and this role is no exception. I'm committed to being accessible to you, our valued members. Your satisfaction and well-being are at the core of our efforts. I'm here to listen, support, and collaborate.
