Our adult education programming is designed to meet each person on his or her level and nudge them one step at a time up the ladder of knowledge. We believe that it is more important to know the direction toward which you are climbing than where you stand on the ladder.

A variety of weekly learning opportunities are offered including Parsha of the week, Talmud classes and Friday breakfast learning. Whether you are thinking about studying Judaism for the first time or continuing your Jewish studies, we have a program for you.


The Education Committee is always looking for suggestions for new lecturers and scholars to bring into the synagogue to address timely topics.


At Kehillat Shaarei Torah, we encourage Jewish living and the continuity of the Jewish people. One way we do this is by engaging our community.
You'll find our members participating in blood drives, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, visiting residents and patients at the local hospital and Senior home and making baby quilts for children in hospitals and shelters.
